Peripheral Neuropathy

Get rid of painful neuropathy without Drugs and without Side-Effects

Peripheral Neuropathy can involve a variety of symptoms including sensory and strength changes, joint stiffness as well as balance and safety concerns.  The cornerstone of our success is based on our evaluation process that quickly identifies the manifestations of neuropathy that are specific to each patient.  By targeting problem areas we are able to see improvement in weeks instead of months.

Symptoms of Peripheral Neuropathy

  • Foot and leg pain
  • Numbness
  • Loss of flexibility
  • Loss of balance
  • Diagnosed with Peripheral Neuropathy in the past

Common Treatments

Effective Treatment requires that patients attend physical therapy 3x/week for an average of 8-9 weeks. The innovative treatment is focused on symptoms specific to each patient.  A focus on restoring circulation is helpful for pain and sensory loss.  While other measures such as balance, safety, flexibility and range of motion are also addressed with specific treatment interventions proven to achieve maximal results.

The results in our pilot study of 72 patients, 91% of diabetic patients noted a significant improvement in terms of sensation, mobility, safety or balance.  In patients with non-diabetic neuropathy, 72% noted improvement in these measures.

Recent research has proven that many cases of neuropathy are reversible.  While the cause is often focused around poor microcirculation to the nerves, innovative treatments have proven to improve symptoms of pain, numbness, loss of balance and mobility. Our Peripheral Neuropathy Treatment Program uses new technology and innovative therapy techniques focused at restoring circulation.  Our program has not only helped hundreds of local patients, it has been used as the model treatment at rehabilitation seminars across the country.

To enroll in the program have your physician fill out the referral on the back of this form.  If you have questions or would like to see the clinical research supporting this program, feel free to call the therapists at  K2 Sports Therapy and ask about this program that received national attention from therapist at UCLA Medical Center to Johns Hopkins.
